Due to the lack of health guarantees necessary for holding the agricultural shows in the face of the lumpy skin disease epidemic, the Doubs Departmental Federation of Agricultural Shows has decided to cancel all twenty gatherings scheduled for September and October 2025. Whether or not the Pontarlier Super Show will be held has not yet been decided. The event brings together more than 600 Montbéliarde cows and more than 350 Doubs farms every five years. Richard Ielsch, president of the Doubs Departmental Federation of Agricultural Shows, provides an update.
